The Folk Museum of the Brzozowski's Family in Sromów

The Folk Museum spans four pavilions displaying wooden sculptures, traditional costumes, horse-drawn vehicles, and agricultural equipment from the Łowicz region.

Julian Brzozowski established the museum in 1972, following two decades of creating wooden figures that were initially stored in living rooms and garages.

The museum exhibits over 400 wooden sculptures depicting local traditions, including scenes of Christmas, Corpus Christi processions, and traditional Łowicz weddings.

The museum operates from March through November, with visits during winter months requiring advance telephone arrangements with the owners.

Mechanical systems allow many wooden figures to move, demonstrating daily activities, celebrations, and agricultural work in the Polish countryside.
