Kaskada Park in Warsaw, Public park in Marymont-Potok, Poland
Park Kaskada spans 6.06 hectares of green space with walking paths, benches, gazebos, and diverse terrain features between Slowackiego Street and Gdanska Street.
The grounds originated as a summer garden residence of Maria Sobieska, wife of Polish King Jan III Sobieski, before General Jozef Rautenstrauch designed its walking paths in early 1800s.
The centerpiece waterfall on Rudawka River, constructed in 1820, gave the park its name Kaskada and remains a central gathering spot for local residents.
Families with children can access the playground facilities while other visitors enjoy strolling along the maintained pathways or resting at numerous seating areas.
The park's natural elevation changes create multiple levels connected by paths, complementing the water cascade feature that flows into an ornamental pond.
