Strzelecki Park in Tarnow, Poland

Strzelecki Park is a public green space in Tarnów with wide shaded pathways, flower beds, and expansive grassy areas. It contains a pond with a fountain decorated by lion sculptures, along with Jordan's Garden area that features a children's playground.

The park was founded in 1866 on land from the Dyksonowka and Podwale farms, originally containing a shooting range and municipal garden layout. These early purposes shaped the space's layout and structure that survives today.

The neogothic Strzelecki Palace within the grounds houses an art exhibition bureau displaying contemporary works by local artists. Visitors can walk through these rooms to experience the current artistic scene in the city.

The park provides numerous benches, flat paths suitable for strollers and bikes, making it easy to navigate the grounds. Visitors should know that entry is free year-round and the pathways accommodate people with limited mobility.

A Sensory Garden was added in 2020 with plants designed to engage multiple senses through touch, taste, and smell. This transforms the park into a place where visitors interact with nature in unexpected ways.
