Park Włókniarzy w Bielsku-Białej

Park Włókniarzy is bordered by four streets and the Biała River, with wide pathways lined by mature chestnut and plane trees that create shaded corridors throughout the grounds. The space contains tennis courts, a sports pavilion built in the early 20th century, and a modern recreational area with fitness equipment.

The grounds were established in 1899 as Planty Blichowe and became an important part of city life for generations. A memorial to Poland's first president once stood here before being destroyed in 1939.

The square within the park functioned as a gathering place for public events and community meetings over many decades, shaping how the city came together. This role remains visible in how the space is used by visitors and residents today.
