Park im. Karola Augusta Dittricha w Żyrardowie

The Karol August Dittrich Park is a public green space covering about 6 hectares in central Żyrardów, featuring gently rolling terrain with water features throughout. Multiple small bridges connect different sections and allow visitors to move easily between areas.

The park was created between 1886 and 1896 following designs by Saxon architect Karol Sparmann. Factory owner Karol Dittrich Junior commissioned the project, which shaped the city's character during that period.

The mansion inside serves as a museum dedicated to regional artifacts and local heritage. The grounds host classical music performances and cultural gatherings throughout the year.

Major renovations between 2005 and 2008, supported by European Union funding, improved accessibility and conditions throughout the park. Today the paths are well-maintained and the space is comfortable for walking and relaxation.

Eleven trees hold natural monument status, including a black walnut tree reaching about 40 meters in height. Some of the oldest elms have trunk diameters exceeding 10 feet (3 meters), showing the park's mature landscape.
