Park pałacowy w Trzciance is a park of about six hectares next to a historic palace in the southern part of Trzcianka, Poland. It features old tree-lined avenues, open lawns, gravel paths, and a small waterfall, all set on gently varied ground.
The park was laid out in the first half of the 18th century as part of an estate. In the 19th century, a pharmacist named E. Tietz grew a vineyard of over four hundred vines here, and the last surviving vine did not die until the 1980s.
The park contains trees brought from Japan and other distant countries, visible among the native oaks and lindens. These ornamental plants reflect the collecting habits of the estate's former owners, who treated the grounds as a living garden of curiosities.
The park is at the end of Tetmajera Street in the southern part of Trzcianka and can be reached on foot from the town center. Some older paths have become overgrown, so sturdy footwear is a good idea.
The grounds once held a water-powered fulling mill, and its old foundations are still visible among the trees. Between 1890 and the 1970s the park also served as the seat of the Trzcianka forestry district office.
