Palace "Pałac na Wodzie" in Staniszów

Pałac na Wodzie is a two-story palace with Baroque features and two additional wings that open toward a French-style garden. The complex sits within a valley near Jelenia Góra and forms part of a significant concentration of such estates in the region.

The palace was built in the late 1700s and underwent major expansions in the mid-1800s, including the construction of Dom Kawalera. These periods of growth reflected the economic development of the region during that time.

The palace takes its name from the water that shapes the surrounding landscape and plays a key role in the historical gardens. Visitors notice how water features define the character of the place and connect the buildings to the natural environment.

The complex houses a restaurant serving regional dishes and provides accommodation ranging from standard rooms to large apartments. Visitors should know that the restaurant operates on fixed hours and advance booking for accommodations is recommended.
