Bishops Palace in Wolbórz, Late Baroque palace in Wolbórz, Poland.

Bishops Palace in Wolbórz is a two-story structure built on a rectangular plan and features outbuildings arranged in a formal composition. The grounds include terraced gardens, walkways, and a linear water canal that runs through the center of the property as the main organizing element.

Construction began in 1768 under Bishop Antoni Ostrowski as a new episcopal residence for the Kuyavian diocese. The project emerged during a period when the church modernized its administrative presence in the region.

The palace served as a seat of religious authority and shaped how the region's leadership was exercised. Today, visitors can see how the formal gardens and symmetrical design reflected the importance of the bishop's role in the community.

The site now serves as an agricultural school complex and continuing education center, so access is limited for general visitors. It is worth checking ahead of your visit to learn whether tours or visits are permitted under certain conditions.

The original Baroque gardens with their terraces and long water canal remain intact, revealing the careful design of the landscape. These linear perspectives were deliberately created along the palace's main axis and showcase the thoughtful composition of the period.
