Pomnik Antoniego Abrahama, Bronze monument at Kaszubski Square in Gdynia, Poland.
This bronze statue stands four meters tall in the center of Gdynia's Kaszubski Square. The sculptor Stanisław Szwechowicz created the figure in an upright, dignified pose.
The project was initiated in 1995 by Mayor Franciszka Cegielska and unveiled in 2001. Earlier plans for a memorial had been interrupted by World War II.
The inscription on the base honors a local activist who worked to preserve Kashubian language and traditions. Visitors can read the dedication and understand why this figure mattered to the region.
The monument sits at a central location where multiple pedestrian paths meet on Kaszubski Square. It is easy to reach and serves as a good reference point for exploring downtown Gdynia.
