Wleń Palace, Renaissance palace in Wleń, Poland
Wleń Palace is a Renaissance structure standing on the right bank of the Bóbr River, positioned at the foot of Tarczynka Mountain. The building sits within a landscape framed by mountain ranges and features grounds with garden areas and historical elements.
The palace was built in the 16th century by the Czedlicz family and later suffered damage from Swedish attacks. In 1741 it underwent major renovation and received French Baroque styling.
The place takes its name from the Wleń River that runs through the region. The park around the building displays the design work of the 19th century through its rare trees and wrought iron details.
The location now operates as a guesthouse where visitors can stay in rooms and access shared spaces. The position near the river and mountains allows for exploring the surrounding landscape and spending time in the park grounds.
The building served as a filming location for the 2007 movie 'Droga do raju'. The film production used the setting and architecture for its story.
