8 Strażacka Street in Częstochowa, Neoclassical palace along Strażacka Street in Częstochowa, Poland

The Brass Palace is a neoclassical residence on Strażacka Street with a rectangular design featuring five axes along its main facades and three axes on its shorter sides. Floral decorations between brackets and detailed cornices adorn the exterior, giving the building an ornate appearance.

A Moravian industrialist commissioned this palace in 1897 as a family residence but never lived in it because he died shortly after its completion. The building subsequently served multiple purposes, including a long period as a police station.

This residence reflects the textile industry's prosperity in Częstochowa during the late 1800s through its connection to a prominent local factory owner's family. The building showcases how industrial wealth shaped the city's architecture and development during that era.

The building stands on Strażacka Street in central Częstochowa and is easily visible from street level. The exterior can be viewed up close, though visitors should note the interior is currently not open to the public and the structure is undergoing restoration work.

A decorative plaque with floral designs is set above a window on the staircase's outer wall and displays the year 1897. This modest detail preserves the memory of when the palace was originally constructed.
