Czarna Góra

Schwarzenberg is a mountain peak in the Sudetes range with steep forested slopes and rocky outcrops near its summit. The terrain rises gradually from base to top, with the highest point offering views across the surrounding region.

The summit received two names across different periods: Schwarzenberg during German-speaking settlement and Czarna Góra after territorial changes in the 20th century. This dual naming reflects the region's shifting borders and populations.

Local communities maintain traditional hiking ceremonies at specific dates throughout the year, marking seasonal changes with gatherings at the mountain peak.

Several marked trails climb to the summit from various starting points, typically requiring two to four hours of hiking depending on the chosen route. Parking areas are located near the main trailheads, and the paths are open throughout the year.

Schwarzenberg sits at a junction where multiple long-distance hiking trails converge and link into broader regional networks. This makes the peak a natural meeting point for multi-day treks across the Sudetes.
