Kamienica Majera Wolanowskiego w Warszawie, Historic tenement house on Prozna Street, Warsaw, Poland
The four-story residential building constructed between 1898 and 1899 features architectural elements characteristic of late 19th-century Warsaw design patterns.
The tenement house survived the destruction of the Warsaw Ghetto during World War II, making it one of the few original buildings from that period.
Between 2008 and 2014, the building's windows and facade displayed photographs of Polish Jews, part of the Shalom Foundation's collection.
The building stands at 14 Prozna Street in central Warsaw, accessible from multiple public transportation routes in the Srodmiescie district.
In 2012, the building's gateway housed a sculpture by Maurizio Cattelan depicting Adolf Hitler in a praying position.
