Olandia, Resort complex near Lake Kuchenne in Prusim, Poland
Olandia is a resort with about 60 rooms in restored buildings from the 18th century near Lake Kuchenne. The property includes gardens, a restaurant serving regional food, sports facilities, and a wellness center.
The property was established during a time when Dutch settlers came to the region and built their own communities. A well-preserved mill building from about 160 years ago comes from this period and shows the building style those settlers brought.
An ethnographic museum on the grounds displays traditional tools and rooms that show how settlers lived in this area. The exhibits tell stories about crafts and daily life from earlier times.
The resort is situated near a lake and the Sierakowski Landscape Park, making it easy for visitors to explore nature. Accommodations, the restaurant, and sports facilities are all on the same grounds, so everything is accessible on foot.
The grounds include an area called Ekolandia that focuses on environmental practices and shows visitors how sustainable living works. This section regularly offers demonstrations and programs about ecological topics.
