Church of Saint John the Baptist in Bielsk

The Church of Saint John the Baptist features two distinct towers, with the southern tower reaching a greater height than its northern counterpart.

Construction of the current brick church took place between 1909 and 1912 under architect Józef Pius Dziekoński, replacing earlier wooden structures dating to the 11th century.

The interior walls display painted decorations from 1984-1985 that illustrate the development of Christianity throughout Polish history.

The church houses a Baroque reliquary of St Joseph Calasanz from the 17th century, decorated with semi-precious stones in a trefoil-ended cross design.
