Palace in Kościelniki Górne

The Palace in Kościelniki Górne is a three-story building with eclectic architecture that combines French baroque elements with Italian Renaissance influences, distinguished by towers, terraces, and an irregular layout. The structure displays this stylistic blend throughout its design and integrates various architectural traditions into a single complex.

The complex began as a manor house in the 17th century and was transformed in the 18th century before undergoing major changes between 1866 and 1867. These later modifications shaped the building's current appearance.

The building shows how Polish nobility shaped their homes by mixing European architectural styles and using stone ornaments and metal decorations to display wealth and taste.

The interior of the building is not open to visitors, but you can explore the exterior and surrounding park with old ash, pine, beech, lime, and oak trees. The park offers a good opportunity to view the building from different angles and understand the landscaping around the structure.

The current owner, a Polish-German citizen, plans to convert the site into a rehabilitation center after completing legal procedures for property unification. This new direction would give the building a fresh purpose serving the modern community.
