Forestry Museum in Gołuchów

The Forestry Museum in Goluchow is an educational institution that displays tools, documents, and exhibits related to forest management and woodland practices. The permanent and rotating exhibitions across several halls provide information about how forests are cared for and harvested.

The institution was established in 1976 and received its current name in 1986 along with an expanded educational focus. Since then its mission has developed to emphasize both historical forestry knowledge and modern environmental stewardship.

Within the grounds west of the main building there is an enclosure where European bison can be observed up close. These animals represent a remarkable recovery of a once-endangered species that now thrives in Polish forests.
