Landscape park in Bukowiec

Count Friedrich Wilhelm von Reden established this site during the 18th century, drawing inspiration from English garden designs to create a landscape garden. His vision shaped how the terrain was developed with scattered architectural elements and water features.

The site features architectural structures like a temple pavilion, a neo-gothic abbey, and a granite stone circle arrangement that visitors encounter throughout their walk.

The site is free to enter and has informational signs at various points marking points of interest and water features. Wear sturdy shoes as the paths cross through woodland terrain and around water bodies.

The site was designed around romantic ideals of the 19th century where each structure was meant to express a thought about human progress. Visitors today can still trace this philosophical intention in how the objects are deliberately positioned across the grounds.
