Park in Świerklaniec

The park extends across a vast area adjacent to Lake Świerklanieckie, featuring numerous pathways lined with century-old oaks, white pines, and chestnut trees.

The park belonged to the Donnersmarck family estate until 1945, with its centerpiece being the Kawalera Palace, constructed specifically for Emperor Wilhelm II's hunting visits.

The park incorporates an amphitheater and notable sculptures by Fremutt, including fountains that mirror the artistic style found in his Paris works.

Visitors can access multiple recreational facilities, including children's playgrounds, health trails, kayaking areas, and fishing spots around Lake Świerklanieckie.

The former guard house at the park entrance now functions as the local Registry Office, while a converted Evangelical church serves the Roman Catholic community.
