Palace in Sławików, Eclectic palace in Sławików, Poland.
The Palace in Sławików is a three-story building with two cylindrical towers on its western facade and brick walls covered in plaster. The structure sits on a 6-hectare estate and represents an eclectic mix of architectural influences from the 19th century.
The building was constructed around 1865 under Ernest von Eikstedt, a wealthy landowner of the region. It sustained significant damage during World War II when battles between German and Soviet forces swept through the area.
The park contains old deciduous trees and the ruins of a neo-Gothic chapel built for the von Eikstedt family. This burial chapel shows how the family chose to mark their presence on the estate.
Access to the estate is limited as the property remains under restoration and is not fully prepared for visitors. The municipality of Rudnik has been working since 2018 on stabilizing the structure to prevent further deterioration.
The grounds contain remnants of former outbuildings including a granary and an orangery from the family's era. These structures give insight into how the estate operated and was organized during the 19th century.
