Castle in Byki

The rectangular castle features two three-story towers, Renaissance window frames, and vaulted ceilings spread across multiple floors in eastern Piotrków Trybunalski.

Built between the 15th and 16th centuries by Jaxa Bykowski, the castle underwent Renaissance renovations in 1604 when one tower transformed into a chapel.

The castle belonged to the Gryf coat of arms family and served as the administrative center for the Bykowskie estates throughout several centuries.

The Provincial Center for Agricultural Progress occupies the castle, which remains accessible during weekends and hosts regular gardening fairs and agricultural exhibitions.

The northeastern tower contains the oldest Gothic elements from the 15th century, while the southeastern section displays Renaissance architectural details.
