The Dr. Anastácio Gonçalves House is an Art Nouveau residence converted into a museum displaying a private collection of paintings, Chinese porcelain, and European furnishings. The building was designed by architect Manuel Joaquim Norte Júnior in 1904 as a private residence and won an architecture award the following year for its outstanding design. It was later converted to a museum to preserve the owner's art collection and make it accessible to the public.
