Construction of the church took place in two phases during the second half of the 14th century, with initial work attributed to Dom Jordan.
The octagonal baptismal font displays intricate carvings, including two crosses within a circle and a five-pointed star on its sides.
Visitors can access the church from Wednesday to Sunday between 3 PM and 5 PM, with parking available nearby.
The capitals adorning the columns showcase different plant motifs, demonstrating the medieval craftsmanship of Portuguese stone carvers.
