Huși, city in Vaslui County, Romania
Huși is a city in eastern Romania located in Vaslui County, situated in a shallow depression at elevations between 70 and 120 meters (230 and 390 feet). It developed from a medieval settlement into a modern administrative center with around 32,000 residents spread across roughly 61 square kilometers (24 square miles).
Huși was first recorded in documents from 1415 and served as a vineyard region under Alexander the Good. During Stephen the Great's reign, it became a royal residence and major center for trade, wine production, and crafts.
