Csernovics Castle, Historic castle in Macea, Romania.
The castle features two distinct wings, with the left section containing two towers built during the first half of the nineteenth century.
Peter Csernovics owned the castle until he lost it in a card game, leading to its acquisition by the Károlyi family in 1862.
The garden path contains a sculpture collection dedicated to Romanian writers, connecting literature with the natural surroundings of the estate.
The castle serves as an administrative center for Vasile Goldis Western University, making it an educational institution in Arad County.
The castle grounds include an arboretum established in 1968, featuring a collection of rare trees including a Ginkgo biloba specimen.
