The Church of the Holy Archangels features a high tower structure built entirely of wood, with detailed religious paintings adorning its interior walls.
Originally constructed in 1531 in the Copacis area, the church was relocated to its current position in 1626 and underwent multiple renovations throughout centuries.
The adjacent graveyard contains wooden crosses with ancient symbols, including one preserved cross with Celtic-style circular patterns inscribed into its surface.
The church remains an active place of worship where Sunday services are held, with local residents attending in traditional Romanian clothing.
Prince Charles of Britain contributed to saving this church from deterioration, leading a restoration project that was completed in April 2018.
