Boksitogorsk

Boksitogorsk is an industrial town in Leningrad Oblast that spreads along the Pyardomlya River. The settlement centers on aluminum metallurgy and manufacturing, with plants producing reinforced concrete and other materials.

The settlement began in 1929 as a workers' colony near bauxite mines and gained town status in 1935. Industrial growth shaped its development into a regional administrative hub.
