Dachnaya Stolitsa is a museum housed in a late 19th-century villa that documents summer house living in the Siverskaya region from the 1850s through the 1970s. The building displays materials from different periods, showing how this seasonal lifestyle evolved over more than a century.

The villa was designed in the 1890s by architect Ivan Golmdorf to serve the wealthy summer residents of the region. When publisher Ivan Ivanov acquired it in 1910, he transformed it into a cultural center for the expanding community of seasonal inhabitants.

The exhibits display furniture, dishes, and personal objects from the villas and estates where summer residents lived, showing how families organized their seasonal retreats. Visitors can observe the daily routines and possessions that defined this lifestyle during its peak.

The museum is located on Krasnaya Street in Siverskiy and welcomes visitors throughout the week from Wednesday to Sunday. Guests should plan for a leisurely walk through the exhibition rooms and check local opening times when planning a visit.
