The Dachnaya Stolitsa museum occupies a late 19th-century villa building featuring exhibits about summer house living from the 1850s to 1970s.
Built in the 1890s by architect Ivan Golmdorf, the villa became a cultural center when publisher Ivan Ivanov purchased it in 1910.
The museum exhibits display numerous artifacts, including furniture, dishes, and personal items from nearby estates, villas, and pioneer camps.
Located at 30B Krasnaya Street in Siverskiy, the museum welcomes visitors from Wednesday through Sunday between 11:00 and 17:00.
The museum preserves the memory of Siverskaya region, which attracted 40,000 summer residents annually during the late 19th century.
