The Tsarina's Golden Chamber features painted vaults, stone-sculpted window frames, and gilt iron grillwork throughout its ceremonial space.
Built in the early 16th century, the chamber underwent major renovations in the 1580s to serve as a reception space for Tsarina Irina Godunova.
The walls display paintings on golden backgrounds depicting stories of Emperor Constantine, Princess Olga, and Saint Dinara from Orthodox Christian traditions.
Located at coordinates 55.75064, 37.61638, the chamber requires advance arrangements through official Kremlin tourism channels for guided visits.
This chamber remains the only existing example of Old Russian secular monumental painting preserved in Moscow through four centuries.
