Sviblovo District

Sviblovo is an administrative district in northeastern Moscow with a mix of apartment blocks, older single-family homes, and maintained green spaces. The area blends multi-story residential buildings with quieter, greener zones that break up the urban landscape.

The district's name comes from a 17th-century boyar, Fedor Andreevich, who earned the nickname Svibl due to a speech peculiarity. Over time, the area grew from a rural estate of wealthy families into a modern urban neighborhood.
