Sviblovo Estate

Sviblovo Estate is a manor house displaying classical architectural features, surrounded by cultivated gardens and open grounds. The building contains multiple rooms and halls that have served different purposes throughout the centuries.

The estate originated in the early 1700s as a residence for the local gentry class. Over the centuries it underwent various modifications and served different institutional purposes.

The estate takes its name from the local nobility family who shaped the region's character. The preserved interiors reveal how the Russian gentry lived and organized their daily routines.

The site is reached through Lazorevy Proezd street in northeast Moscow and can be explored on foot. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended since the grounds are quite extensive.

The grounds include protected natural areas that have remained intact despite modern urban growth in the surrounding neighborhoods. These green spaces provide a retreat within the bustling district.
