Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian in Maroseyka

The Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian is an Orthodox house of worship in central Moscow featuring white walls, columns, and a classical design. Its interior displays religious artwork and ornamental details typical of Russian churches built in the late 18th century.

Architect Matvey Kazakov designed and built this church from 1791 to 1803 during Moscow's period of major architectural growth. It survived the great Moscow fire of 1812 intact, keeping its original classical structure.
