Church of the Theotokos of Smolensk

The Church of the Theotokos of Smolensk is an Orthodox church built in neoclassical style from brick with multiple domes rising from its roof. The building stands within the grounds of the Smolenskoye Orthodox Cemetery in Saint Petersburg.

The church began as a wooden structure in the 1700s and was later rebuilt in stone by architect Alexei Ivanov in the late 1700s. This transformation established the site as an important Orthodox place of worship in Saint Petersburg.
