The Narvskaya Zastava Museum occupies a building that houses exhibits about the development of Saint Petersburg's southern coastal region and Peterhof road.
Established in 1990, the museum presents collections documenting the evolution of the Narva Gate area from the mid-18th century through current times.
The permanent exhibition includes materials about Princess Catherine Romanovna Dashkova and displays artifacts representing local entrepreneurship through different periods.
The museum welcomes visitors Monday through Thursday and Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00, Friday from 10:00 to 16:00, with closure on Sundays.
The collection contains 33,000 items, including 22,000 rare artifacts that detail the transformation of this frontline district throughout Saint Petersburg's history.
