The Ezhovsky Mironositskiy Monastyr features Orthodox architectural elements with silver-encrusted stone icons and traditional wooden structures spread across its grounds.
Established in 1647 following the discovery of a miraculous icon by peasant Andrey Ivanovich Zholnin, the monastery received official recognition from Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich.
The monastery houses the Myrrh-bearing Icon of the Mother of God, which draws Orthodox pilgrims and represents regional religious traditions.
Visitors can access the monastery grounds daily, with religious services conducted regularly in accordance with the Eastern Orthodox calendar.
The monastery's original stone icon, found on an aspid stone and adorned with silver, repeatedly disappeared and reappeared before the establishment's foundation.
