T-34 Tank History Museum

The T-34 Tank History Museum displays military equipment, photographs, documents, and personal belongings related to the development of Soviet tank technology.

The museum opened in 2001 at the exact location where T-34 tanks initiated a decisive counterattack against Nazi forces during the Battle of Moscow.

The museum originated from Larissa Vassilieva's collection, who gathered materials to honor her father, Nickolai Kucherenko, one of the T-34 tank designers.

Located at kilometer 36 of the Dmitrov highway, the museum provides guided tours in multiple languages and maintains regular exhibitions throughout the year.

The facility contains original tank components, technical drawings, and correspondence between engineers who contributed to the T-34 tank development program.
