Rudauer Kirche

Rudauer Kirche is a brick church building with red walls that reflects Baltic architectural design. The structure has a solid foundation with visible elements from different building periods.

The building was founded in the 14th century under Teutonic Order rule. Over the centuries it was repeatedly rebuilt and later converted into a storage facility.

The building sits in the center of Melnikowo and is reachable on foot. Good footwear is recommended since roads in this village are not always well-maintained.

The original medieval foundation stones still form the base of the building today. These old stones show how durable the work of the earliest builders was.
