Maryino Stroganov Estate

Maryino Estate is a grand manor with a balanced facade set within an English-style park dotted with ponds and arched bridges. The main building and surrounding gardens together create a harmonious composition designed for both living and leisure.

The estate was founded in 1726 under Maria Stroganova, and its current palace took shape from 1813 onward, designed by architect Andrey Voronikhin for Countess Sofia Stroganova. This rebuilding period gave the property the appearance visitors see today.

The estate takes its name from its original owner Maria Stroganova and later became the family's country retreat. Walking through the grounds, you see how the Russian nobility lived and spent their leisure time during the 1800s.

The estate sits roughly 60 kilometers south of Saint Petersburg along the Moscow highway and is easy to reach by car. Visitors can stay at the on-site hotel, dine at the restaurant, enjoy carriage rides, and explore the grounds with a guide.

The property houses a collection of restored historical carriages that visitors can rent for rides during special events. Interior rooms were carefully reconstructed based on 19th-century documents, offering visitors a genuine glimpse into the period.
