NRING Circuit, tor wyścigowy (Rosja)
NRING Circuit is a motorsport racing track located near Bogorodsk, approximately 22 kilometers from Nizhny Novgorod in western Russia. The facility features multiple track layouts with a main circuit just over 2 miles long, including 15 turns, high-speed straightaways, a drag strip section, and a small oval, all designed to accommodate various racing disciplines from touring cars to motorcycles.
Construction of the track began in late 2008 on land west of Bogorodsk and was completed in 2010, hosting its first race that June. The facility has since grown as a venue for national and international racing events, with major upgrades completed by 2015 that expanded pit boxes, added a control tower and media center, and increased spectator capacity along with hotel and spa amenities.
The circuit is approximately 25 minutes by car from Strigino Airport in Nizhny Novgorod, with the drive from Moscow taking about 6 to 7 hours via the M7 highway heading eastward. Modern amenities include 24 pit boxes, a control tower, media center, and up to 30,000 spectator spaces with covered seating and open areas that provide good views throughout the venue.
The track features multiple usable layouts simultaneously, including a drag strip section, allowing different racing disciplines to take place on the same grounds. This versatility makes it a preferred venue for racing series, driver training, and enthusiasts seeking track day experiences in a controlled setting.
