Museum for Railway Technology Novosibirsk

The museum stretches across three kilometers of exhibition space, displaying an extensive collection of locomotives, carriages, and railway equipment from Western Siberia.

The museum opened in August 2000 after railway veterans campaigned for a facility to preserve the numerous historic vehicles at the experimental testing grounds.

Visitors can examine passenger cars from different periods, including a surgical train car from World War II and an imperial-era carriage with oak furniture.

The museum operates daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Mondays and Tuesdays, with admission fees of 300 rubles for adults and 100 rubles for children.

The collection includes Soviet-era automobiles, trucks, tractors, and all-terrain vehicles alongside more than 100 railway exhibits from the mid-19th century onward.
