Парк Победы

Victory Park spans across 35 hectares of land in the Oktyabrsky district of Lipetsk, featuring over 40 species of trees and shrubs including pines, birches, and maples.

The park development started in 1973 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Soviet victory over fascism, with the final official opening taking place in 1987.

The outdoor military equipment museum, established in 1995, displays ten authentic pieces of machinery that participated in the Great Patriotic War.

The park offers year-round recreational facilities, including walking paths, children's playgrounds, and a Ferris wheel, with special events and fireworks during warm seasons.

Local residents, including students and schoolchildren, contributed to creating the park by planting 400,000 trees and 700,000 shrubs during its initial development phase.
