Saint Stapanos church, Kaliningrad

Saint Stapanos is a neogothic brick church in Kaliningrad with a tall tower featuring a historic clock. The building stands near the Pregel River and shows distinctive Gothic architectural features.

The building was constructed between 1904 and 1907 by architect Friedrich Heitmann to serve Catholic settlers. After World War II, it stopped functioning as a church and served other purposes before becoming a music venue.

The building now serves as a concert venue where the Philharmonic orchestra performs regularly, and visitors experience how the space is used for classical music. The large organ is central to these performances and shapes the sound throughout the hall.
