Nobleman Nikolay Vasilyevich Chicherin acquired the property in 1837 and initiated construction of the primary manor buildings on the elevated terrain.

The Trinity Church, designed by Italian architect Giacomo Trombaro, stands 70 meters above ground level and hosted notable family ceremonies.

The estate maintains protected status as a federal cultural heritage site, requiring visitors to obtain necessary permissions before exploring the grounds.

Georgy Vasilyevich Chicherin, who later became foreign minister of the Soviet Union, was born at this estate on November 12, 1872.
