State Museum and Exhibition Center "ROSIZO", Art museum in Moscow, Russia
The State Museum and Exhibition Center ROSIZO extends across multiple locations in Moscow, displaying a collection of 45,000 artworks including paintings, sculptures, and graphics.
Founded in 1959 as the Directorate of Art Stocks and Design of Monuments under the Ministry of Culture, ROSIZO distributed 500,000 artworks throughout the USSR.
The museum organizes exhibitions of Russian art at international venues such as the Louvre and Stedelijk Museum, promoting cultural exchange between Russia and global institutions.
The main building resides in the Estate of Turgenevy-Botkiny, with additional exhibition spaces at the Books pavilion in VDNKh, offering various educational programs.
Following its merger with the National Centre for Contemporary Arts in 2016, ROSIZO maintains both historical collections and experimental contemporary art installations.
