Milovka Estate, Estate in Plyos, Russia
Milovka is an estate on the banks of the Volga near the town of Plyos, covering around 80 hectares and including a manor house along with several outbuildings. The property stretches across multiple levels and features landscaped gardens, pathways, and a private dock.
The estate dates back to 1775 when the noble Chernev family built their residence after Vasily Chernev was elevated to nobility by Empress Elizabeth in 1751. In the early 21st century the property underwent extensive renovations that combined the original manor with modern facilities.
The property includes architectural elements from the late 18th century, combining traditional Russian manor design with modern renovations completed in the early 21st century.
The estate includes a private dock with speedboats used for river travel, as well as multiple garages and two helipads. There are also several communication stations on the grounds, which can limit access for visitors.
The grounds contain a winter sports facility with ski slopes and lifts that operate during the snow season. Nearby there are multi-level pools built into the hillside, and a separate house for waterfowl.
