Kirkha Vozneseniya Khrista, Lutheran church in Sovetsk, Russia.
The red brick church features a neo-Gothic architectural design with high windows and traditional Lutheran interior arrangements throughout its three naves.
The original structure, built between 1843 and 1851, received a tall tower addition in 1888 and underwent extensive reconstruction in 1926.
The church maintains regular Lutheran services and functions as a central point for religious gatherings in the Kaliningrad Oblast region.
The church building is located at 22 Iskry Street in Sovetsk, with visitor access and religious ceremonies scheduled throughout the week.
The current structure replaced the previous Ascension of Mary Church, which sustained severe damage during the 1944 bombardments of World War II.
