Njupeskär, Waterfall in Sweden
Njupeskär is the highest waterfall in Sweden, situated in Fulufjället National Park.
Fulufjället, home to Njupeskär, became a national park in 2002 to protect the unique mountainous region.
The Sami people originally named the waterfall 'Den Højeste', meaning 'The Highest' in their local language.
Visitors can access it through a walking trail and the top can be reached via stairs next to the path.
Its water drops a full 93 meters, with a total height of 125 meters including the sloped part.
