Fulufjället National Park, National park in Sweden
Fulufjället National Park is known for its primeval forest and the highest waterfall in Sweden, Njupeskär.
Established in 2002, it is one of the newer additions to Sweden's portfolio of national parks.
The area is significant to the indigenous Sami people who have used this land for generations.
The park offers well-marked hiking trails and educational information about the unique flora and fauna.
Home to the ancient Old Tjikko, a 9,558-year-old Norway Spruce, considered one of the oldest living trees.
