Linköping Cathedral, Lutheran cathedral in Linköping, Sweden
The cathedral measures 110 meters in length and 35 meters in width, with two towers reaching a height of 107 meters against the Swedish sky.
Construction started in the 1100s with a stone basilica, which later expanded in the 1230s with the addition of a transept and new choir section.
The interior contains medieval artifacts including a bronze baptismal font from the 1400s and a crucifix from the 1300s, representing Swedish religious craftsmanship.
Located opposite Linköping Castle, the cathedral offers regular Lutheran services and houses two pipe organs that frequently host musical performances.
The cathedral's copper-plated roof, installed in 1967, has naturally transformed to a green color through oxidation, creating a distinct appearance.
