Eskilstunaån, Small river in Eskilstuna Municipality, Sweden.

The Eskilstunaån stretches 32 kilometers through Södermanland County, connecting Lake Hjälmaren with Lake Mälaren through Eskilstuna and Torshälla.

The construction of Eskilstuna and Torshälla Canal in 1860 transformed the river into a transportation route with three locks bypassing rapids.

The river shaped the development of Eskilstuna as a metal manufacturing center, providing water power for numerous industrial operations along its banks.

The waterway maintains an average flow rate of 24 cubic meters per second and spans across a basin covering 4,187 square kilometers.

The lower section of the river changes its name to Torshällaån as it flows from Torshälla toward its final destination at Lake Mälaren.
